SIM Technology Group's (HKG:2000) total revenue of the group declined 6% in October reaching HK$31.4 million from HK$33.4 million in September, with revenue from its core business declining 6.4% to HK$27.7 million in October from HK$29.6 million in September.
Revenue from the core business declined 13.5% compared with HK$32 million logged for October last year, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
The mobile communications company attributed the decline in October revenue to customers' adjustments in the delivery times of their purchase orders.
Total revenue for the 10 months ended Oct. 31 amounted to HK$323.9 million, down 26.1% from HK$438.1 million a year earlier.
