Tam Jai International (HKG:2217) reported a profit of HK$36.1 million for the six months ended Sept. 30, a 56% decrease, compared with the profit of HK$81.6 million in the previous year, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Earnings per share for the company was $0.027, compared with $0.061 in the prior-year period.
The company's revenue was HK$1.40 billion, a 1.2% increase compared with the HK$1.39 billion in the previous year.
The Board has resolved to declare an interim dividend of HK$0.01350 per share.
The restaurant group's shares were down over 1% in the recent trading.
