China Shenhua Energy (HKG:1088, SHA:601088) recorded a 0.4% year-over-year increase in coal production volume to 27.6 million tons in October.

Coal sales during the month reached 38.2 million tons, up 1.9% from a year earlier, according to a Friday filing.

From January to October, coal output rose 0.9% to 272 million tons, while sales grew 3.6% to 383.5 million tons.
