Battery maker LG Energy Solution rises 1.3% following a new energy-storage-system supply deal with U.S. renewable energy company Terra-Gen. Shipbuilder Hanwha Ocean gains 3.6%. The won's weakness against the U.S. dollar is easing after South Korea's finance minister warned against excessive volatility in the pair's trading.
