Extrawell Pharmaceutical (HKG:0858) expects to book a profit of between HK$100 million and HK$105 million for the six months ended Sept. 30, compared with a loss a year prior, a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The pharmaceutical company attributed the anticipated swing to profit mainly to a fair value gain on financial assets, comprising investments in convertible bonds, at fair value through profit or loss, compared with a fair value loss in the year-ago period.
Shares of the company closed 4% lower on Tuesday.
