0943 GMT - Confidence in U.K. and European equities fell in November as investors preferred U.S. stocks, head of platform investments at Hargreaves Lansdown Emma Wall writes. Confidence in U.K. equities decreased 11% month-on-month according to the Hargreaves Lansdown investor confidence index. Confidence in U.K. economic growth also dropped after the release of the government's autumn budget statement. Confidence in European and Japanese stocks was down 4% and 10% respectively. Investors were more confident in Asia-Pacific and North America with more than half of the funds bought by Hargreaves Lansdown customers either direct U.S. equities or tech funds with underlying U.S. companies, Wall said.
