iDreamSky Technology's (HKG:1119) consolidated affiliated entity Shenzhen iDreamSky Technology agreed to cooperate with Tencent's (HKG:0700) subsidiary Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) to improve artificial intelligence application in game development and gaming, a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The parties will jointly establish an innovation laboratory to work on AI code assistants and AI-assisted development proficiency for well-known game development engines like Unreal and Unity.
The parties will also collaborate to improve the AI for non-player characters and to develop a better gaming experience for gamers using AI, among other things.
