Sparc Technologies (ASX:SPN) partnered with Santos (ASX:STO) to conduct a field trial of an ecosparc-enhanced anti-corrosive coating at Port Bonython in South Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Ecosparc is the company's graphene-based additive product.
The trial will assess the ecosparc-enhanced coatings' potential inclusion in Santos' coatings specification, allowing them to be used on commercial projects if successful, the filing said.
Sparc Technologies shares rose nearly 3% in morning trade Wednesday.
