Centaurus Metals' (ASX:CTM) maiden drill program at the Boi Novo project in Brazil continued to yield "encouraging" results, expanding high-grade copper mineralization and intersecting more zones of thick disseminated mineralization, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Results include 24.2 meters at 0.76% copper and 0.05 parts per million gold from 42.3 meters, including 9.1 meters at 1.55% copper and 0.08 parts per million gold from 57.4 meters at the Nelore West prospect, the filing said.
The company extended the campaign by an additional 2,000 meters until the end of the year, according to the filing.
