China Eastern Airlines (HKG:0670, SHA:600115) carried 12.3 million passengers in October, up 15% from 10.7 million in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

Passenger capacity grew 12.3% to 25.36 billion available seat kilometers from 22.58 billion available seat kilometers a year earlier.

Cargo capacity increased 5.5% to 815.1 million available freight ton-kilometers from 772.3 million available freight ton-kilometers, the filing said.
