Red Hill Minerals (ASX:RHI) declared a special dividend of AU$0.30 per ordinary share, fully franked at 25%, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The dividend is payable on Dec. 13 to shareholders on record as of Nov. 29, the filing said.

The company's shares surged past 8% in recent Monday trade.
