S&W Seed (SANW) shares were up more than 20% in recent trading Tuesday after reporting preliminary fiscal Q1 revenue of $8.3 million, down from $10.8 million a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expect $17 million.
"The year ago period included roughly $5.6 million related to S&W Australia which is no longer part of the company's Q1 results ended Sept. 30.
The company expects fiscal 2025 revenue between $34.5 million to $38 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $65 million.
