Bio-Techne (TECH) said Wednesday it signed a distribution agreement with Leader Life Sciences under which the latter company will serve as Bio-Techne's distributor across Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

Financial terms were not provided.

The company said the agreement allows Leader Life Sciences to offer Bio-Techne's range of products, including antibodies and enzymes, to biopharmaceutical firms, hospitals, universities, and laboratories in the region.

Leader Life Sciences provides various services including lab automation to support research and diagnostics in the Middle East and North Africa, Bio-Techne said.

Shares of the company were up 1.4% in recent premarket activity.
