Trip.com Group (HKG:9961) reported a net income attributable to Trip.com Group of 6.77 billion yuan for the quarter ended Sept. 30, compared with 4.62 billion yuan in the prior year's quarter, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share increased to 9.93 yuan from 6.84 yuan in the year-ago quarter.
Net revenue for the period jumped 16% year on year to 15.87 billion yuan from 13.74 billion yuan, primarily due to "stronger travel demand," the company said.
