China Mobile's (HKG:0941, SHA:600941) 5G network customers reached almost 545.7 million in October, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing by the telecommunications company.

The firm added 300,000 new mobile customers during the month, bringing its total mobile customer base to a little over 1 billion users.

Wireless broadband users also increased by a little over 1.2 million during the month, taking the total to 314.8 million.
