Edvantage Group's (HKG:0382) unit Guangzhou Huashang Vocational College won the bid for the land use rights of three land parcels adjacent to its existing facilities in Guangdong Province, China through a public auction for a total consideration of 143.1 million yuan, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
Huashang Vocational College entered into land use rights grant contracts for two of the land parcels with relevant parties on Nov. 8 and is expected to do the same for the third land parcel on or around Dec. 1.
Huashang Vocational College plans to carry out campus expansion on the said land parcels along with the construction of student practice and training bases, dormitories, and other facilities.
