Mei Ah Entertainment Group (HKG:0391) expects an unaudited loss attributable to shareholders in the range of HK$30 million to HK$40 million for the six months ended Sept. 30, wider than HK$4.5 million logged for the same period last year, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The media distribution company attributed the expected increase in loss to a decrease in revenue from its film exhibition, film rights licensing and sub-licensing segments; expected loss from a certain film title and a certain musical performance released by the Group during the reporting period; and an increase in deficit on revaluation of investment properties.
