Sportradar (SRAD) said Thursday it has entered into a multiyear collaboration with Major League Baseball, or MLB, to improve the analysis of amateur baseball players using its Synergy Coaching and Scouting service.
Financial details weren't provided.
The deal will provide MLB and its 30 teams with extensive player insights, covering over 20,000 games, up from 3,300, including college, international, and professional leagues, the company said.
Sportradar's technology will transform millions of data points from video into detailed metrics and visual insights, helping scouts streamline the evaluation process and support draft decisions, the company added.
