Duty Free International (SGX:5SO) said its subsidiary, Cergasjaya, received formal possession notices for Lot 1683 in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah, under Malaysia's Land Acquisition Act 1960, according to a Monday filing on the Singapore Exchange.

Cergasjaya will cease operations at the site on Nov 25 and vacate the premises. The company is filing an objection with the High Court and cannot yet estimate the financial impact.
