Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Edge Higher in Monday Trading

Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were edging up on Monday morning, up 0.1% to 2,041.86 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by video platform IQIYI (IQ) and artificial intelligence company Tuya (TUYA), which advanced 10% and 5.2% respectively.

They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Zai Lab (ZLAB), which added 3.2%.

The decliners from North Asia were led by online used car dealer Uxin (UXIN) and real estate company KE (BEKE), which fell past 10% and 3.7% respectively.

They were followed by electric vehicle maker Nio (NIO), which dropped 3%.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by India's HDFC Bank (HDB) and tech company Wipro (WIT), which rose 3.3% and 1.7% respectively.

The decliners from South Asia were led by Philippine telecommunications company PLDT (PHI), which fell 1.6%.
