Brown-Forman (BF-A, BF-B) said Monday that Campbell Brown will step down as board chair in July and will be succeeded by Marshall Farrer, his cousin and a fifth-generation descendent of company's co-founder, George Garvin Brown.
Campbell Brown plans to remain on Brown-Forman board after July, pending re-election, the bourbon, spirits and wine bottler said.
Farrer has been a board member since 2016 after beginning at the company in 1998 as market manager of Brown-Forman's wine division in California. After moving up through positions of increasing responsibility, he was named chief strategic growth officer in 2023.
