Chatham Rock Phosphate (NZE:CRP) said a major reseal on an arterial road connecting to Phosphate Hill will significantly benefit its recently permitted Korella North Mine, according to a Monday filing with the New Zealand bourse.
The Duchess Phosphate Road is a key transport corridor for copper, gold, and phosphate mines in the south of Cloncurry Shire, as per the filing.
Chatham Rock Phosphate views the resealing work as a confirmation of the local council's nod to mining operations within the Shire.
