Andean Silver (ASX:ASL) appointed Matthew Allen as chief financial officer, effective Dec. 9, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

Allen was most recently executive finance director for Global Lithium Resources (ASX:GL1).

The appointment follows the resignation of Susan Field as financial controller, the filing said.
