0931 GMT - Singapore's FTSE Straits Times Index edged 0.05% higher to close at 3739.29, erasing earlier losses on likely position adjustments by investors ahead of the month-end. There were mixed economic signals and some geopolitical tensions, Saxo Markets' Saxo Strategy Team says in commentary. Among the best performers on the benchmark index, Singtel rose 1.6%, Sembcorp Industries added 1.0% and Thai Beverage was 0.9% higher. Meanwhile, SATS fell 1.05%, CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust shed 1.0% and Singapore Exchange was down 0.9%.(ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
