According to the press release Tempo received on December 3, 2024, the two talked about getting ready for the Arthur Rimbaud plaque's inauguration, which is scheduled on December 5, 2024, at Tuntang Station in the Semarang Regency. Arthur Rimbaud was one of the best poets of the 19th century and a well-known author worldwide. He was a prolific writer in his teens until deciding to give up writing in 1875, at the age of 21. He was born in Charleville, northern France, in 1854. After that, he made the decision to visit Indonesia and other countries.

On August 1, 1876, Arthur Rimbaud arrived in Semarang. He took the train to Tuntang Station, which is now the Museum of PT Kereta Api Indonesia, and then walked to Salatiga. After spending two weeks there, he vanished and then resurfaced in France four months later.

It is anticipated that the plaque's unveiling will serve as a historical reminder of the significance of the Ambarawa and Salatiga districts in the life of renowned French poet Arthur Rimbaud. KAI's support of this initiative, which symbolizes efforts to develop cultural links between Indonesia and France, is very appreciated, Ambassador Penone said.
