Spartan Resources (ASX:SPR) updated the underground mineral resource estimates for the Pepper and Never Never deposits within the Dalgaranga gold project in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The Pepper deposit's underground resource is estimated to stand at 2.6 million tonnes of material at 10.3 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold for 873,400 gold contained ounces, a 99% increase in terms of ounces from the previous update, the filing said.
The combined underground resource estimate for the Never Never and Pepper gold deposits now stands at 5.9 million tonnes of material 9.8 g/t gold for 1.9 million gold ounces, the filing added.
