RedHill Biopharma (RDHL) said Monday it has been awarded approximately $8 million, including nearly $1.5 million in interest, by the New York Supreme Court in a legal case against Kukbo.

The court ruled that Kukbo failed to make payments to RedHill Biopharma according to their agreements on Oct. 25, 2021, and Mar. 14, 2022, the company said.

Kukbo has the right to appeal the court's decision, it added.

RDHL shares were up over 4% in recent trading.
