New World Development (HKG:0017) named Echo Huang Shaomei as the developer's chief executive officer, according to a Nov. 29 press release.
Huang succeeded Eric Ma Siu-Cheung, who sat on the role for two months.
Ma took over the CEO role from Adrian Cheng after the property developer logged a loss of HK$19.7 billion in the fiscal year ended June.
Shares slid 1% during Tuesday's late morning trading.
