The Southern Company 

The Southern Company (NYSE:SO) generates, transmits and distributes electricity. Incorporated in 1945 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, it is one of the largest utilities in the U.S. It serves nine million customers with vertically integrated electric utilities in three states and natural gas distribution utilities in four states. 

Southern has increased its dividends every year since 2001. According to the company’s most recent dividend hike announcement on April 22, it raised the quarterly dividend from $0.70 to $0.72, equal to an annual figure of $2.88 per share. The dividend yield on the stock currently stands at 3.22%.

The company’s annual revenue (as of Sept. 30) stood at $26.4 billion. According to Southern's most recent earnings announcement on Oct. 31, it posted Q3 2024 revenues of $7.27 billion, slightly missing the consensus estimate of $7.29 billion and an EPS of $1.43, beating the consensus of $1.34.

Rexford Industrial Realty

Rexford Industrial Realty (NYSE:REXR) is a real estate investment trust (REIT) focused on investing in and operating industrial properties throughout Southern California. Its high-quality portfolio comprises 422 properties with approximately 49.2 million rentable square feet, occupied by a diverse tenant base. 

Rexford has increased its dividends consistently for the last 11 years. As per its most recent dividend hike announcement on Feb. 5, it raised the quarterly dividend by 10% to $0.4175 per share, equal to an annual figure of $1.67. Currently, the dividend yield on the stock stands at 3.94%. 

Rexford’s annual revenue (as of Sept. 30) stood at $903.9 million. As per its most recent earnings release on Oct. 16, it posted Q3 2024 revenues of $238.40 million, compared to the consensus estimate of $239.70 million and an EPS of $0.59, compared to the consensus of $0.58.

Skyworks' customers are mostly large smartphone manufacturers, but the firm also has a growing presence in non-handset applications such as wireless routers, medical devices and automobiles.

The company has raised its dividends for the last 10 consecutive years. On July 30, Skyworks raised its quarterly dividend by 3% to $0.70 per share or $2.80 annualized. The annual yield on the dividend stands at 3.25%.

The company's annual revenue (as of Sept. 30) stood at $4.2 billion. According to its most recent earnings announcement on Nov. 12, it posted revenues of $1.02 billion and an EPS of $1.55 for Q4 2024, both exceeding the consensus estimates.
