Samsung Biologics (KRX:207940) introduced a corporate social responsibility program called Nanum Store to aid underprivileged children in nearby communities, the South Korean biotechnology firm said Monday.
About 20 vendors will participate, donating 5% to 15% of their sales to support children requiring long-term medical or educational assistance. The initiative aims to foster social contributions and community welfare, according to the release.
Shares of Samsung Biologics fell nearly 1% in recent trade on Wednesday.
