Standard Chartered (HKG:2888) repurchased 541,100 shares in the UK from Goldman Sachs International on Friday at a weighted average price of 9.73 pounds sterling apiece.
Following the repurchase and cancellation, the British lender will have 2,435,961,835 issued shares,according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
