Lotus Technology (LOT) has chosen Amazon's (AMZN) Amazon Web Services as its preferred cloud provider to enhance the development of its intelligent luxury vehicles, the latter said Monday.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
By utilizing AWS technologies like Internet of Things, analytics, machine learning, and generative AI, Lotus aims to improve its autonomous driving systems, connected services, and personalized vehicle experiences.
Shares of Lotus were down 0.5% in recent Monday trading while AMZN shares were 1.7% higher.
