Pure Storage (PSTG) said late Tuesday it is working with Kioxia to develop technology for high-performance, scalable storage infrastructure.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The companies will attempt to engineer a data storage platform to meet the needs of "hyperscale environments" while reducing electricity consumption and the size of data centers, Pure Storage said.
