Shares in CapitaLand Investments closed 2 cents higher, or up 0.73%, at $2.75 on Dec 2.

CapitaLand Investments (CLI) has appointed Tham Kui Seng and Eugene Paul Lai Chin as its non-executive independent directors, with effect from Jan 1, 2025. 

Following the new appointments, Tham will also take on the role of a member of the audit committee and the nominating committee, while Chin will be a member of the executive resource and compensation committee and the risk committee. 

According to the group, both appointments came on the back of recommendations from the nominating committee due to the credentials, experience, background and knowledge of Tham and Chin. 

Currently, Tham is also the director of Straits Real Estate, Avanda Investment Management, and the advisor to Mellford. 

Meanwhile, Chin currently holds the position of chairman and director of Boardroom, director of Apricus Global and the non-executive and lead independent director of Paragon REIT Management.
