Cinemark Holdings had its second-best November box office ever thanks to record revenue during the five-day span surrounding Thanksgiving.
The movie theater chain said Monday that both attendance and food and beverage revenue on the Friday after Thanksgiving hit highs not seen since before the pandemic.
Cinemark said Moana 2's opening weekend, as well as strong carryover demand for Wicked and Gladiator II, drove the record numbers.
AMC Entertainment Holdings has also reported record-high attendance around the holiday.
