Interra Resources (SGX:5GI) reported a rubidium discovery by its Australian investee company, Morella Corporation (ASX:1MC), at the Mt Edon project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
Drilling results revealed rubidium oxide concentrations of up to 0.59% and lithium oxide at 0.63%, expanding mineralized zones and uncovering new targets.
Interra holds an 8% stake in Morella, which leads the Mt Edon joint venture with Sayona Mining (ASX:SYA). The discovery is expected to boost development prospects at the site.
