Paladin Energy (ASX:PDN) restarted the Langer Heinrich mine plant in Namibia after a planned shutdown in November, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Routine maintenance activities and improvement works were completed during the shutdown, along with the construction of on-site water storage to improve the mine's water balance management, the filing said.

Shares fell nearly 2% in afternoon trade Thursday.
