Woodside Energy Group Ltd (WDS) said Wednesday that it has signed a revised engineering, procurement and construction contract with Bechtel for the three train 16.5 million tonnes per annum foundation development of Louisiana LNG.
Financial details were not disclosed. Bechtel has worked on site since the acquisition and will continue work under a limited notice to proceed under the revised contract.
The company said it continues to target final investment decision readiness from Q1 of 2025.
Woodside forecasts the total Louisiana LNG expenditure from December to end of Q1 2025 to be up to $1.3 billion.
