Leading Holdings Group (HKG:6999) appointed ShineWing (HK) as its auditor with effect from Friday to hold office until the next annual general meeting of the company, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The appointment followed the resignation of Ernst & Young from the very same post after the company decided to change its auditor as the parties couldn't reach an agreement regarding the audit fees for the financial year ending Dec. 31, 2024.

The property developer's shares closed over 1% lower on Friday.
