Dollar General $(DG)$ and Kroger $(KR)$: The discount retailer and supermarket chain are both set to post earnings this morning, along with big Canadian lenders including TD Bank $(TD)$.
Synopsys $(SNPS)$: The software provider's stock slid in premarket trading after its forward guidance for earnings and revenue missed analysts' expectations.
Coinbase $(COIN)$: The crypto exchange's stock rose ahead of the open as bitcoin prices rallied above $100,000. Other crypto-linked stocks, including MicroStrategy $(MSTR.AU)$ and Marathon Digital $(MARA)$, jumped, as did online brokerage Robinhood Markets (HOOD).
Five Below $(FIVE.UK)$: The discount retailer raised its fiscal-2024 guidance, after strong Black Friday sales helped fuel a 15% jump in quarterly sales. It also named its new chief executive following a six-month search. Shares leapt more than 14% premarket.
American Eagle Outfitters $(AEO)$: The clothes retailer forecast a larger-than-expected drop in sales for the holiday quarter and trimmed its annual sales outlook. Shares fell 15% ahead of the open.
Vodafone (UK:VOD), $(VOD)$: The British telecom's deal to merge its U.K. business with CK Hutchison (HK:1)'s Three was conditionally approved, ending an 18-month hiatus. Vodafone stock rose in London, as did its American depositary receipts premarket.
