Eventbrite (EB) said Thursday that Chief Operating Officer Lanny Baker is leaving the company, effective Dec. 31, to move to a senior executive position outside Eventbrite.

Eventbrite said it has launched a search to find Baker's successor.

Baker is set to join Etsy (ETSY) as chief financial officer, starting in the first week of January, Etsy said in a separate statement.
