Amgen (AMGN) said Thursday it is investing $1 billion to construct a second drug substance manufacturing site in Holly Springs, North Carolina.
The latest investment will bring the company's total investment in Holly Springs to more than $1.5 billion, Amgen said.
The investments will create 370 new jobs in the region, Amgen said.
