China's central bank resumes gold purchases after six-month hiatus in Nov

SHANGHAI, Dec 7 (Reuters) - China's gold reserves stood at 72.96 million fine troy ounces at the end of November, as the central bank resumed gold purchases after a six-month pause, official data showed on Saturday.

The value of China's gold reserves fell to $193.43 billion at the end of last month from $199.06 billion at the end of October.
