Nano Nuclear Energy (NNE) said Thursday it signed a memorandum of understanding with the government of the Togolese Republic to advance the development and deployment of nuclear reactors, fuel facilities and nuclear material transportation.
The memorandum of understanding could potentially lead to one or more binding agreements in the future, according to the company.
Nano Nuclear said it will assess Togo's energy needs for remote locations, while the Togolese government will support the company's licensing and implementation efforts.
Shares of Nano Nuclear were down over 3% in recent trading.
