The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 71 cents per share.
The provider of services for managing health care accounts posted revenue of $300.4 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $289.3 million.
HealthEquity expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.08 to $3.16 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.19 billion to $1.2 billion.
