MorningStar appointed Michael Holt, its chief strategy officer, as chief financial officer when current CFO Jason Dubinsky steps down.
Dubinsky will exit as CFO at the end of the year, and assume a consulting role through the transition period, MorningStar said.
Holt, who has been with MorningStar since 2008 and served as chief strategy officer for the past seven years, will lead and oversee its global finance organization at the Chicago headquarters. Holt was also named president of the financial services company's research and investments group in 2023.
"We have a bright future, and I look forward to collaborating with our executive team and Board of Directors as we work to propel continued growth and value creation," said Holt.
