Healthcare Realty Trust (HR) said Monday its board has elected Tom Bohjalian as its independent chair.

The board has also appointed David Henry, Glenn Rufrano, and Don Wood as new independent directors following a cooperation agreement with Starboard Value, the company added.

Under the agreement with Starboard Value, John Knox Singleton, John V. Abbott, and Vicki U. Booth have retired from Healthcare Realty's board, the company said.
