James Bay Minerals (ASX:JBY) identified mineralization from an evaluation of historic drill data at the Independence project in Nevada, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The review found up to 4% copper and 6,874 grams per tonne of silver from cores drilled by previous explorers, validating the multi-commodity potential of the project, the filing said.
Shares of the mining firm jumped 8% in recent Tuesday trade.
