Hyundai Motor Group entered into an expanded partnership with Google for better navigation in Hyundai Motor (KRX:005380), Kia (KRX:000270), and Genesis vehicles, the automaker said in a Thursday release.

By integrating the Google Maps Places API, Hyundai Motor Group drivers will be able to access real-time information on 250 million global locations, including business details and reviews. The update will debut with Kia in North America, before the global rollout, the release said.

Shares of Hyundai Motor rose nearly 2% in recent trade while Kia increased more than 1%.
