0849 ET - BJ's Wholesale Club is the "new kid on the wholesale club block" with some attractive differences between its bigger rivals, Costco and the Walmart-operated Sam's Club, TD Cowen analysts say in a research note. It has room to grow from a modest 250-club footprint and can add more than 50 locations in the next five years while yielding low double-digit percentage growth in earnings from both unit expansion and comparable sales growth, the analysts say. The chain works as a more traditional grocery stop for customers given its smaller pack sizes, full-service deli and wider array of unique products, they say. (dean.seal@wsj.com)
